 My second favourite piece of work from this year is my maths groups tally chart about the question:what does the octopus reading group drink with their breakfast.First we created a tally chart in a maths book. Finally we collected the data and made it look good on the chromebook.This is the tally chart. Do you know how to make a tally chart?

W.A.L.T:Write a persuasive text.

Kids should get more responsibilities.

I think that kids shouldn't be given big responsibilities because if the kid is forgetful the kid can forget to do the washing it will never get done.

I think that as they get older they should slowly get more responsibilities so there brain can adapt to doing jobs.Also if kids go to school everyday and pack their bag they will slowly adapt to packing there bag its like doing jobs.

Secondly kids shouldn't be given big responsibilities because they can forget a step and it may be unsafe or just look ugly.

For example if a kid  needs to get somthing from the car and unlocks it and leaves the key in the car they forget where the key is.

What do you think I can improve?

I chose this piece of work because it was a fun piece of work to create. Also my friends helped making  the stop motion.I'm proud of this work because it has been a long time since I have made a stop motion.This piece of work shows one of the legends of matariki/ the moari new year.Fun fact the date of matariki is

I disagree because you can learn at home like I learnt to drive a digger at home.you can make stuff like I built a sand boding track and I go to rugby training.

I agree because some parents need a  brake and don't need to look after there kids for as  long.

Materials: you will need

 tin

volcanic rock

Firewood

cardboard

lighter

banana leaves

tinfoil 

 coconut cream.

step’s

1.fist lay tin on the ground

2.Then you put a banana trunk around in a Square to hold the firewood.

3.put some of the volcanic rocks in the square of the banana trunk.

4.then put dry firewood in the fire.

5.then start the fire by lighting the cardboard and put the cardboard in the fire.

6.stack volcanic rocks on top of the fire.

7.levee for 30 minutes to 40 minutes.

8.heat up the banana leaves.

9.make a cone of baby taro leaves and fill it up with  coconut cream

10.then wrap the taro leaves with tinfoil.

11.then put the food on the heated rook’s.

12.wait for it to cook for 25 to 30 minutes then you're done.
